Take a look at my signature for my systems specs. I am getting some better CAS2 Memory soon. I want to try to get this guy up to a gig. But I would like the HSF to be as queit a possible (I know probably asking to much) But would the SuperOrb work okay for trying to reach a gig?? Or should I get the FOP38 and deal with the noise?

Deal with the noise and get the Alpha or HedgeHog. I just installed the HedgeHog and artic silver. Under full load my T'Bird 800@1000 peaks around 40 C.

I had a Delta fan on my Global Win and thing was a damn vacuum. Re-installed the YS-Tech 32 and my ears feel a little better.

Cool, thanks for the info so far guys.
Oh yeah and of course you knocked off a capacitor with YOUR SuperOrb, they are not designed for the KT7.

The FOP38 and FOP 32-1 give the same performace using a delta fan. so if you cant stand the noise get the FOP32-1 with YS fan and be 2C warmer.

One knock on the Superorb. I had one one my Duron, and while
I was in there messing around, my finger touched the spinning
fan. The fan blade busted right off, although it was not
a painful experience. The fan blade is quite flimsy.
Of course, it you're not a klutz like me, it will not matter.

I now have a FOP32 in there, and the CPU temp on my Duron 600@950
hits peaks at 47C under heavy load, case closed. Open case
drops it to around 43C.
