Foot injury picts

Finally got around to getting a couple picts off my V600 cell phone of my trip to the doctors about 3 weeks ago. I was injured at work when a fully loaded semi truck rolled up on my foot/ankle and lower leg.

Only broke one bone in my foot but smash the hell out of everything else. Still recouping now 4 + weeks into this. Have an MRI coming up soon to look for ligament damage.

I was helping a fellow driver. His release handle was stuck. The release handle lets you unhook from a trailer ( kingpin ) It was stuck so I was pulling the handle and he was in the cab pulling forward. The rig " popped " loose and before I could let go of the handle It pulled me into the path of the tire.

That number two pict doesn't really show the swelling. My ankle was as big around as my knee....

I had a forklift run up the back of my foot. The blood pooled exactly like yours on the side of my ankle.

Thank God you are not dead! Sheesh, that was a dangerous undertaking! I hope you recoop quickly!

Was very lucky. Could have been much worse. Probably have to deal with some ongoing pain for the rest of my life but really a small price to pay considering how bad it could have been.
