Swiss cheese.

Swiss cheese? Thats a broad category..

Do you mean Gruyere, Ementhaler...there are several. Or do you mean the American-style interpretation of "Swiss" cheese? that stuff is crud.

but Gruyere....emmmm. definitely pungent, but oh so tasty 😉

Oh god I love Gruyere, one of my favourite hard/semi-hard cheeses.

I only like coconut once it's sweetened and put into things. I don't get how people can just eat it from the shell. Bleh.

I love the smell though 🙂

I love fresh coconuts. But I am from the subtropics so...

I can think of the reverse. I gave a dog some kind of dog treat which smelled really good, so I decided to have a small taste. It was god awful.

Yeah, I actually really like the smell of cat food (dry kind) but it tastes like crunky cardboard or something.

I wouldn't say that smell makes me hungry though, I just like the way it smells.

Isn't your perception of taste largely associated with smell?

I thought so too. I can't think of any food I enjoy that smells bad. Though I also think swiss cheese smells fine.

Same, not many food items smell bad to me. If it does smell bad, I will chunk it.

Well, swiss cheese has always smelled gross to me. As such, I never ate it until recently. Swiss on a sandwich really adds some flavor. But I think you'd have to threaten to chop off my balls before I ate plain swiss by itself.

I can agree there. Swiss by itself doesn't taste good, it needs to be on something. I still think it smells fine, but that's subjective.

Disagree. I like eating Swiss by itself.

Pretty much all Korean food

Have you had all of Korean food to make that distinction?

Absolutely. I have eaten all Korean food except for maybe dog.

And some examples would be? I can understand condiment dishes and kimchee having a bad smell, but most of the other stuff smells good especially kalbee / bulgogi.
