Foods that I've never eaten

This is my confession to ATOT of very common foods I've never consumed, ever.

Never Eaten:

Spaghetti
Lasagna
Anything pasta-based for that matter
Mac and Cheese
Salad
Anything Mexican (Including Taco Bell), Chinese, Japanese, etc...., not American basically
Rice
Soup
Any seafood (besides crab legs)
Any fruits or vegetables outside of the very common ones
Oh yeah...and alcohol (~10 months to go)

I guess I could add in that I haven't had ice cream or moo juice in about 10 years (bad experience)

I'm sure I'm forgetting a lot but I can't think right now. So, anyone else not eat anything that's incredibly common out there? Surely I can't be the only one here <_<

I've never had pizza delivered.
I've never had Kraft Mac and Cheese.....or rather, eaten a dish of it. I've tasted it; and found it to be rather bland. Yeah, me. Calling something bland. Go figure.

But nothing pasta-based? Damn man, where do you live? 😛
My favorite pasta dish: Mac and cheese (home-made, with mozzarella & cheddar, plus some flour, milk, and butter), with stewed tomatoes mixed in after it's baked.

The question then is: What the heck do you eat?
I've at least sampled a fair range of stuff, though not necessarily a large number of foods. There's a good chance that I won't like the taste of something though, as opposed to tolerating or even liking it.

are you allergic or something? that's crazy -- what DO you eat?

there's tons of foreign foods I've never eaten (never had Thai, for instance) but I'll try just about anything once.

Sounds like you lead a very boring life. That and your mother sucks at cooking

I can live with boring, better than bad, right?

Everything that's not listed there of course. My typical week goes something like this:

Every morning rotates between French toast and pancakes with sausage and OJ for breakfast.
For lunch every weekday it's pretty much 3 pieces of pizza, or nothing at all, depending on how I'm feeling.
My night time snack always includes either just a banana or that and a few cookies or something, nothing outrageous

Dinner goes:
Sunday: Grilled food with mash potatoes and carrots
Monday: Steak Sandwich and carrots
Tuesday: Go out with friends for wings or eat a TV dinner (the not so unhealthy ones)
Wednesday: Cooked meal (Usually some type of meat with mash potatoes and carrots or baked beans)
Thursday: Grilled Hamburger with baked beans
Friday: Whatever I can find
Saturday: Pizza and an apple

As you can see, I eat a lot of carrots. I have night time vision that's second to none. I've been on this schedule for years and so far it's worked out pretty well.

Phad Thai > j00 😉

OP, you have a spectacularly boring life. I suggest you start living before you start dying!

wow. I would be seriously depressed at life if I had to stick with that diet.

I can only think of 1 thing that I refuse to try- Fermented tofu (smell hits my gag reflex)

I know what it's like to have a poor diet, but I've had pretty much everything on your list.

Right now I pretty much eat only pasta, peanut butter sandwiches, frozen corn, and chicken strips. Every day. Sometimes I order a pizza.

Sounds like you lead a boring life based on your inability to being adventurous with your dining.

I'd say boring is bad. Maybe you're okay from a nutrition standpoint, but imo food is one of the great pleasures of life, there's no need to deprive yourself of it if you don't have to.

I have no words! No pasta? I've come across extremely picky eaters before but you don't say you don't like things, just that you haven't tried them. Why not step outside the cage and see how glorious food can be?

My first instinct is to throw the B.S. flag down on this one, but I've seen stranger things here in ATOT. Still though, HTF does one make it to adulthood without having rice or pasta of any kind?? 😕

Or soup, salad, any ethnic foods, fish, clams, mussels, oysters, shrimp, prawns, lobster, crawdads, seaweed, squid, octopus, or abalone. I'm betting the guy just sits down and eats a sack of flour for each meal.

I tried pigs blood for the first time in years again this week. It was ok, still not my favorite - trying to acquire the taste.
