um... obviously you know absolutely nothing about real vodka.
Vodka, as a distilled product of various items, with the end goal of being ethanol and water, is assumed to be flavorless.
However, good vodkas will not be flavorless. There are traces of different flavors, and the different brands will have other varying traits, such as how smooth/harsh.
I like good vodka but rarely go for drinking vodka straight, more of a mixer. But that's because I cannot really afford the vodkas I'd enjoy drinking straight in anything other than a quick shot.
I do have to ask the OP though:
what Vodkas are going to be at the tasting event?
But I'd say yeah, some good crackers or something crunchy and lightly-flavored. Maybe some peanuts too.
Something that might be good to eat while sampling is ham and cheese sandwiches, with nothing on them. So maybe make some sandwiches with good bread and serve them as small little cocktail servings to offer up between tastes?

Really, anything. Good vodka should have no taste. It can go with anything.

The way to get really good vodka is buy the cheap stuff (like Ivanabich) and filter it through a Brita system two or three times.
Tastes much better than the expensive brands and overall it costs less.
