Mix, I grew up eating Italian & love it, but there are only a few poll options I haven't tried a few dishes of and loved. Btw it's the Philippines, but people & things from there are Filipino.

Thanks, I'll change that. Can we get some more dishes people?

Do yourself a favor, go out tonight and try something new.
Like what, fish eyes or sheep testicles?
No thanks, I'll have a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

Your ignorance is bewildering. I mean real, good foods. Be a little open minded, especially when it comes to foods.

How come no Canadian food? We have regional food areas that are quite remarkable.

PS: Russian food has to be the most blandest in the world.

Their liquor makes up for it 😀

Eh, I wouldn't give him too much flak for it. For much of the single-digit-age portion of my youth I wouldn't touch anything but pb&j's. I even ate pb&j for Thanksgiving one year, and recall a time I wouldn't eat hot dogs because they were 'icky' 😛 He's probably just 12, give or take (I'll give him that much since he's posting here), and spoiled rotten for a few years longer than I was. I'll eat damn near anything now, btw. One of my favorite foods is calimari, and I prefer the tentacles over the body 😀

I love fried calamari. We also have it grilled every Greek Easter (week before/atfer, I forget, Catholic) and we also have a whole lamb.

I like tasty ethnic dishes with one exception, pickled stuff. I don't like kimchi. Once my indian friend invited me for dinner, his mom made this strong-tasting, pungent squash. It tasted horrible.

people like what they like. just because they would rather have pb&j than some souvlaki doesnt make them ignorant or stupid. stupid is criticising someone for what they like.

i prefer cajun food. or some good country home cooking. the only foods on your list i havent tried are russian and taiwanese. african? uh, which region/culture/country? south american? again, what r/c/c?

Is it my imagination or are this poll and most of the responses an almost exact replica of one a couple months back?

My favorites (non of which seem to be there) in this order with best at the top:
CaliMex.
TexMex.
Americanized Chinese.
Americanized Italian.
Americanized northern Indian.
American.
Taiwanese (I'm assuming all I had was Americanized).
French.
Italian.
Mexican.
Greek.
Chinese.
German (2 months in Germany nearly starved me).
Japanese (worst food I've ever eaten - heck worst week of my life was in Japan).

I called him ignorant specifically because of this, "Like what, fish eyes or sheep testicles?" It is asinine to assume all foreign foods are "fish eyes" and "sheeps testicles".

no favorite (though I voted for Mexican being from New Mexico)...I like Mexican, Italian, Chinese, and perhaps French.

I would say there are some that are quite bad: Polish, English, and Irish.

Anyway, enjoy🙂

I eat a lot of Italian food I like it quite a bit but I really love Indian food. I've got to go with Indian food.

BTW-I've heard that some of the best Indian restaurants in the world are in England.
