Food of Choice?

I mean real food here. Not American crapola (though good) like hamburgers, etc. But like homestyle kind of dishes, European, Asian, etc. Choose the area in the poll and then say your dish. I have many, I was raised on Polish and Greek, seeing as that is what I am. Polish foods I would have to say kapusta-sour kraut- and Greek, souvlaki.

EDIT: Now with 30% more culture!
EDIT2: Philipino is now Filipino. And bump. 😀
EDIT3: Now with 100% more Thai!

Anybody who votes for English cuisine should turn in their taste buds now.

Apple Pie is English, IIRC.

There is NO F-ING WAY the same people that enjoy black pudding, mushy peas, and chip buttys could come up with something as tasty as apple pie. Besides, if that were true, why would people say "As American as apple pie"? Huh? Huh? Answer me that, Mr. Wizard.

I see that one of you actually voted English. Your tongue deserves to be flogged, whoever you are.

I love Indian food. Or at least food that is served in restaurants with names like "Passage to India." With Indian people serving and cooking. I love Vindaloo, Mughlai, Panchkuti Dal, practically everything.

BTW, I am Lithuanian/Polish (Father) - British/Welsh (Mother)

Mix, I grew up eating Italian & love it, but there are only a few poll options I haven't tried a few dishes of and loved. Btw it's the Philippines, but people & things from there are Filipino.

i said chinese food cause i could have that all the time.. but lately i've been eating a lot more mexican and vietnamese food.. but i guess if i had to choose one for the rest of my life, it'd be chinese
