Hmmm...
You should buy a water distiller if water tastes funny there. You can get a pretty good counter-top one for $100 🙂

How do those compare to a britta for example? laughable?

Well, a distiller is actually better than a filter, I'd say. With a britta-type thing, any chemicals in the water from pipe purges (ever see the water come out yellow or other colors? That's them cleaning the pipes. With chemicals.) stay in the filter and could come out in future water.

With a distiller, those get left behind by the boiling and you just clean out the tank.

We have a commercial-size distiller that churns out a lot of water, but I bought one of the counter top models for my girlfriend. She's waiting until her family moves to a new home (couple of days) to set it up but I looked at it and it looks well made, and uses the same basic principles as any other distiller.

So, from my experience, distiller > filter, britta or otherwise 😉

What's your skin colour like? Yellowish? Also, does water taste funny?

The water here does taste funny, but it isn't great water to begin with.

I got quite abit of color this weekend... can't tell if I'm "yellow" or not... 😕

Checkout the white of your eyes in a mirror, is it yellowish? Any aches in your gut?

Bloodshot... 😕 Could be yellow in there. And stomach is a bit tight, no pain really though.

What do you think I got, doc?

Hehe, I'm no Dr., just had a similar experience a few years back.

If you start seeing Yellow in your skin or eyes an if things continue to taste worse, goto your Dr. and tell your symptoms, maybe suggest a blood test for Iron count and Bile. He/she would probably suggest that anyway under those circumstances.

My particular experience was with Gallstones blocking my Bile Duct. Caused Bile backing up into my system(causing Yellow Jaundice), my Crap to turn a pale gey(funniest sh1t you I'd ever seen! 😀 ), Food and Water to taste bad(Water tasted like it had algae in it), my skin turned a bright Yellow, was constantly nauseated.

It kind of snuck up on me, felt a little off one day, the next I felt worse, and the mirror showed me to have turned into a Yellow Freak. I called my Dr. and told her I was not feeling well and had turned Yellow, she told me to come right over. Upon seeing me she says I wasn't kidding and wants to admit me straight into the Hospital. She pretty much suspects what it is(as it turned out), but wants a couple tests(bloodwork and Ultra-Sound of internal organs) performed first. Though I was sick I hate hospitals and groaned a bit, but alas I knew from her reaction this wasn't an easy fix.
