I am writing a commerical app and my co-workers hate me because I use 120dpi (Large Fonts) and it screws their layout up on my system.
I personally think it's a great thing because it helps scale the app for people with non-standard DPIs. With resolutions getting higher along and with non-4:3 modes becoming more popular it's a good route to go for everyone. I hate when an apps either scales the font size down to 96dpi or straight out renders poorly with non-standard DPI. As a side note, Large Fonts, etc has nothing to really do with fonts by themselves. It's just a name.
Anyway, wanted to get a sample set to see how popular non-standard DPIs are these day. Thanks!
