Could we get a screenshot with Standard font-smoothing and no font-smoothing on too?

Yes, 1280x1024. I used to have a 17 inch and it looks much smoother than this.
Here's another screen shot:

QFT. You are looking at the same number of pixels (1280x1024 = 1310720 pixels) but on a LARGER physical surface area (19" vs. 17"). This means your PPI (pixels per inch, also known as DPI, or dots per inch) is actually lower on the 19" than it is on the 17". IOW, the resolution is 'lower' and thus the quality not as tight/sharp/crisp, simply because the pixels are actually bigger.Originally posted by: nitromullet
The resolution is the same on a 17" and a 19" LCD... So, in order to make it a 19" screen the pixels have to be bigger... You think this could be your problem?

Ah.. thanks for the reminder. Sometimes I feel so stupid. 🙂Originally posted by: VooDooAddict
A screenshot won't give us what you see on your monitor.
A screenshot is captured frame buffer. We see it as if your computer was sending the image to our monitors. It's bound to look different for each of us. If you want us to see exactly what you see on your 19" you need to use a camera.
Screenshots can tell us what your video card it outputing, not what your monitor is actually displaying. :/
