font deterioration in win95?

win 95 system, leave it on for several hours and the text becomes unreadable. is this a known issue? the video card is an STB 4MB AGP Video Card w/ Integ. DVD Support Rev 1 from gateway. any solution out there? thanx

Well, have you eliminated the monitor yet? Have you tried the latest video drivers? Sounds more like a monitor issue to me.

i couldn't get the deterioration on my test monitor, so i originally did suspect her monitor. but the owner said she had taken it to be checked out, so then i ruled out a monitor problem. but it turns out she hadn't taken the monitor in, so that is my suspicion once again. the drivers are updated. thanx
