I don't know if you will save much money after cable internet, Netflix, and Hulu Plus.
I pay ~$62 a month just for cable internet. For about $110 after taxes and fees, I could get cable internet, TV, and phone. So I'm saving about $50 a month by not bundling. But I also don't use Netflix or Hulu Plus.
As for sports, I don't watch as much as I used to. I get local games OTA. For ESPN and others, that's where XBMC comes in.
well I live in Northern NJ so stuff is a bit more up here. From what I know of previous tv packages I have used I figure I will save a minimum of $40 if I subscribe to several of the Hulu/Netflix type services. But most likely closer to $60-70 bucks a month.
That's $720-840 bucks a year. I'll take that any day of the week and twice on Sundays.
