Folding v7 CPU PPD

Hi,

I upgraded to v7 client and I get significantly less PPD on my CPU than I used to with the 6.34. With the new one I get ~10k (the same as I used to get with a Q9650 using 6.*). When running the old client on my Core i7 980 I got over 35k PPD with bigadv WUs. Is this normal? Maybe I need to set the process priority higher?

Did you enter your "passkey"?

Did you add extra client options under the Expert tab - "client-type bigadv"? Are you getting the bigadv type WUs?

If you are only folding you shouldn't have to change "FahCore Priority".

Hmm, isn't there something about FAH running-out of bigadv-wu's a couple weeks ago?

There's atleast something about in January 2012 you'll need atleast a 16-way system to get any bigadv at all...

OK, then I'll just fold whatever they give me. It was just disappointing to see such a low PPD number on a six-core. O a different note - looks like my overclock wasn't successful so I'm redoing it as we speak. I expect to reach a stable setting tomorrow and start folding again.
