I was getting back into anandtech (school starts = old habits follow) forums and I want to know how I actually join. I have downloaded the latest client and have it running now (1.0s/frame decent?), and I've set the team as 198, but is that all I have to do? Or do I sign up somewhere...sorry for the newbishness.

Nope, that's it. Once your first work unit comes in you'll see a nice "Welcome Shortass" in Hyperfocal's nightly stats posts (assuming you're new).

You've got the team set right, so as long as you set a unique username (check here to see if someone else already has it), you'll show up in HF's stats post once you submit your first work unit.
