It is in public beta, but there is not enough of a change to call it beta, IMO. If you run dual of any kind, this is great.
Also good if you have too much memory to get a WU you prefer, just tell the server you have less!
And no more having to explain how to set -advmethods flag

In the advanced options, this is asked:
"Memory, in MB, to indicate {1022 available} [1022]?"
And if you don't answer yes to deadlineless:
"Set -advmethods flag always, requestion new advanced scientific cores and/or work units if available {no/yes} [no]?"

Client v.5.04 is in public beta for Linux and Windows (console). It allows configuration of the amount of memory reported and the setting of advmethods through the Configuration so that it persists. This is a maintenance release, with more signficant improvements coming in v.6.

This maintenance version allows configuration of the amount of memory to indicate available, especially useful when running multiple "big unit" clients on a single machine. It also allows for the setting of -advmethods as a persistent option through the Configuration.
