Some comments
These stats cover about 36 hours since the last update. I'll do the complete set of stats tomorrow - when there is more time. It is the proof reading which takes most of the time ...
The distance between the TAS:ers and the Folders is still getting bigger, but by a much slower pace. I think that the decrease in production announced by some TAS-members has now reached its valley - lets hope that the TAS:ers can assimilate or recruit some more crunchers.
Then there has been some discussion in the thread about how to optimize the crunching. I have the impression that the comps which crunch 450 - 600 pointers has increased. This of course optimizes the ppd, but makes the output more erratic. Thus the results may change from day to day ...
The three newcomers (cupcak3, Zensal and Markfw900) are really high-point-producers. In this race the the addition of these crunchers has added to the suspense and it certainly makes the race much more enjoyable! 😀
So, lets just continue! Crunch more, assimilate more, optimize better, recruit more!

Hi TeAm-mates and racers! I am having big problems with my internet connection (some problem with ISP's hardware) 🙁 . It takes like 3 minutes to download the stats-page in folding.extremeoverclocking.com 🙁 :Q . I'll wait some 12 - 24 hours or so to see what is going on - I hope they will solve it soon. I'll be back as soon as I can! 😉

@CupCak3 or GLeeM - Have you tried that Knoppix image?
I have 3 boxes that are dedicated folders. I am curious if it is more productive without all the Windows overhead.
The only other thing those boxes are used for is network backups.

I've actually given Knoppix a try, xbassman and it's not faster than Winxp, if anything, it's a bit slower. I don't know why that is. The utilities that I found (last year about the beginning of the year) were not as robust as FAH Logstats, for instance. It's also a pain to set them up to fold using a central server on your lan as the repository. I like to log on to the machines an do some playing every once in a while.
I was not that impressed, it saved you a hd, but that was it.

My ISP has come through - no more molasses! Later today (in about 8 - 9 hours), when all preparations for Christmas Eve are done, I'll put up the stats for all racers.
I wish you all a day of calm preparation, no stress (thats why I take 8 - 9 hours time: that includes coffee breaks, mulled vine, hugs for the kids), peace and a happiness!
