There's no big bonus for SMT CPU projects anymore, but it will be interesting to see how well the Rome will do. :)
Oh, I guess I did not read.... Well maybe I will run it for a day. Its not up yet, and may not be. It showed up as an ES chip, not retail !

As par, cant get Folding working
Reinstalled, it's crunching a cpu but not the GPU. Went to,
1 configure
2 slots
3 Add
4 ticked GPU
5 ok
6 save... tells me there's no GPU
Maybe ill try reinstalling everything.

Yes Linux. I Always just download the cli and control and it works.
Ive had this problem before but don't remember how I fixed it.

Just to add what @Markfw said.

There's a few things you need to do to add GPU clients:

sudo apt install ocl-icd-libopencl1
sudo apt install ocl-icd-opencl-dev
cd /var/lib/fahclient
sudo wget http://fah-web.stanford.edu/file-releases/public/GPUs.txt

Now restart the FAHClient:
sudo service FAHClient restart

Open up FAHControl:

Click the Configure button (on toolbar).
Select the Slots tab.
click on the cpu slot and then click on remove.
click on "add" a slot.
click on the radio button to add a GPU slot.
click OK.
You should see the new gpu slot in the slot list.
click on save.
A new task should download and start folding on one of your GPUs.
repeat the above to add another gpu slot for your second GPU.

Here's the guide at F@H

I get, unable to locate package oci-icd-libopencl1
unable to locate package oci-icd-opencl-dev

I don't get it, I had F@H on my computers from the dec. race, I just
changed some gpu's around. Iam not that good with Linux to be
messing around with it, maybe ill sit this one out :(
Edit, thanks for the help guys

the package names are misspelled. It's ocl not oci.
With the latest drivers or distributions, I don't have to do the ocl-icd-libopencl1 anymore, just the dev.

@lane42, New video card since the last time you folded ? that would account for not seeing the GPU., and

sudo wget http://fah-web.stanford.edu/file-releases/public/GPUs.txt

Is what fixes that. But you also have to restart the client after that.

And that new 2060 super ? is doing 1.14 million ppd

I was getting 1.1 to 1.2Mppd. Some times it made it to 1.3
That was on coffeelake@3.6 and ubuntu.
