If you're running the GPU client & the std CPU client then the GPU will be at max load & 1 CPU core will be too.
Not sure what the 'spare' core will be at, but IIRC the GPU client will use 5-10% of it??
Could I run 1 CPU client at 100%, a second CPU client set to use like 75% of the CPU and the GPU client then? Rather than the SMP client and the GPU client, which together may interfere with one another?

Got the new GT240 card, but didn't get a chance to put it in last night. Probably this weekend. It would be nice to get a ~2-3K ppd output for $35 or so, considering that I do about 1/10th of that at the moment.

You definitely could, although the Nvidia client does not use much CPU IME.

AFAIK you should get 4k, possibly with a little OCing.
