Finally had all my machines cough up their 21xx Work units today and my parents athlon xp decided to finish its as well. Had a 3 day stretch with no Point production.

I don't like these WU's as they take so much time for the points they are worth, but they need to be done as well

I seem to have fallen into an all or nothing cycle where all the WU's finsh nearly at the same time and then it is a while before it happens again....................never a dull moment.

I aggree with GLeeM Night has nothing to be embarassed about :thumbsup:! I am doing what I would do with or without a "race". As long as the project is moving forward it is all good besides if I don't get some work soon the electric bill is going to get me to drop 1 of my units to day use only . So everyone else will have to fold a little harder to make up for me .

Oops, I think I may have been misunderstood

I have been in a few races in my time, and have lost miserably in each contest I rember receiving "extra" points, some were anonomous(sp?) and some were not. I remember being shocked that there were people on the TeAm that were willing to give me their hard earned points and I was very grateful for them.

I never mentioned anyone other than myself in my post above and am dissapointed to see that my TeAm-mates think that I was mocking Night201's effort.

I am so !!!! not offended so don't wory about me. It is so easy to miss interpet when you cant see the other person and hear the inflection in there voice. for me itis all in fun and I do not see any problem with a little friendly back and forth

I won't say anything. Seriously though, I have F@H on some computers that are only on about 8/5 and hopefully they will return some results today.

I've also been beta testing Vista on one of my mane dual cores which is on pretty much 24/7. But, It's been crashing and not shutting down right, so I was constantly losing my work and having to restart all the time. I think over the past 3 weeks since I've been using it to crunch WU, I've maybe returned 2-3 results on it. XP is back on it and I'll be crunching on it with hopefully much success...

Let's give this race a little more time if you don't all mine. I know I'm getting my a$$ kicked, but I see a brighter future ahead for me.

I just checked my clients and two of them have received WU (2414) which are worth 600 points and are yielding >275 PPD per CPU :shocked:

That's more than 2x the production of the 21xx series

These are the first new ones since I removed the -advmethods.... I think I know my 'desired state of the -advmethods flag' now
