If I have the console running as a service, how do I get it to run with the flags? I think I saw somewhere that I would have to do it in the registry, but I'm not sure how to do that.

I get stuff like this if when I restart my computer.
[01:40:10] Completed 12349970 out of 50000000 steps (25)
[01:40:10] Extra SSE boost OK.
[01:40:27] les
[01:40:27] Using table 3
[01:40:27] Size of work/wudata_01.bed not what saved.
[01:40:27]
[01:40:27] Folding@home Core Shutdown: FILE_IO_ERROR
[01:40:30] CoreStatus = 75 (117)
[01:40:30] Error opening or reading from a file.
[01:40:30] Deleting current work unit & continuing...
Sometimes it runs fine for a few frames and then gets the error; other times it is like this example where it happens immediately. I think if I could add -local and -forceasm flags to it it would run better. I've lost a lot of work due to this damn thing.

There are other threads telling how, but I don't know the linkage, so here is the Sid-abbridged version.

After you have installed F@H as a service, it generates registry info. I open the registry editor and search for '-svcstart' (no quotes) to find the image path entry because I know only the F@H entry will have that string in it.

Then I edit the image path to add the switches.
