Just installed the SMP folding client and just a couple of questions

I have an X2 processor and installed only one client but noticed both my cores are working at 100%. Does that means I only have to run one instance?

I also chose not to do the advance methods. Did I make the right choice?

yeah, 1 SMP client uses both ur cores, so run just 1 client. Actually, i noticed its running 4 processes... maybe thats why FAH said SMP is suitable for 4 cores.. but it'll do fine on 2.

I dont know much about advanced settings but i know it allows you to set how much CPU usage u want it to run at.

1azycaTz was correct, one SMP client will be sufficient for up to 4 cores.

Pesonally I always do adv methods b/c all of my clients are customized. I think there is once adv method you will want to turn on but I can't remember it off the top of my head. when I get home tonight I'll post back

After sitting in the number 2 spot for many days, I was beginning to think that I would never hold the pole position.

On Friday, I'm going over the 250,000 point mark. To celebrate the milestone, I will be bringing virtual donuts for everyone on Team 198 (except for Cupcak3, he gets a virtual cupcake!).
