Folding@Home 10th Anniversary

Good to hear about the OpenCL core. I still get frustrated that my stock 8800GTS 640MB gets about the same PPD as my overclocked 5870.

For the life of me, I can't recall when I started F@H and I can't find anything on the Folding web site either. It was about the time SETI classic lost traction but I can't nail down the exact time frame. But it has become my primary interest, with Rosetta and Seti trailing.

if it's of any use, i seem to remember there was a separate project running at the same time,
genome at home. did they merge, were they partners, or is it my turn to go sit in a dark room and calm down???
🙂

June 15, 2004. At least according to extremeoverclocking stats.
It shows my earliest record being January 1, 2004 but I know that I started folding during the summer of '03. It may be that is the date when the present database at EOC was started.

edit:Confirmed - I checked some older members from my old team and all of them show a first record date of 01/01/04.

It was right in front of my face, so naturally I didn't see it. 😳

Thanks
