Folders in vista changing the way icons are displayed randomly?

Hello.

I have two folders on my desktop, one contains all of my game shortcuts, and another contains just various computer utilities like CPUZ and Core temp.

What is happening is when I open these folders, the way the icons are displayed seems to randomly have changed from what I set it to last time I opened the folder. Anybody know anything about this?

Happens to me all the time also. Microsoft never fixes the small but annoying issues like this.

I don't think so. This has been happening to me on Windows at least since XP.

My machine is completely free of viruses and malware of any form.
