Folder of links to file of links?

More "bookmark" woes:

I have a folder containing multiple .url files (from Windows) and .webloc files (Mac). Each of the files represent one link to a website.

Is there an easy way (group drag and drop, for example), to get all the links into one document? Dragging each file one at a time is not the kind of solution I am looking for, though.

I have searched and tried things on my own, but I have not been able to figure it out.

Thanks.

I'm not sure what you want.

Are you saying you want a file that contains links to all of those .url and .webloc files?

This could be a job for automator or applescript.

I want a document that is a clickable list of all the links, so I can throw out the .url and .webloc files.

(The solution may also be getting all the links in the .url and .webloc files imported as bookmarks.)

I have never used automator or applescript, so that could be an adventure for me, though I am willing to try with enough hand-holding ;)

Here is what I ended up doing.

1. Converted all the .webloc files to .url (See my other thread about how to do this);
2. Launched Windows in Parallels and copied the folder of (now all) .url files into Windows;
3. Imported all the .url files into IE Bookmarks;
4. Exported all the bookmarks to a .htm file;
5. Copied the .htm file onto the Mac OS desktop;
6. Profit.
