A folder that I delete keeps reappearing. I am assuming it is from a program that is creating it, but I don't know which. Is there any way to find out what program is creating it?
one way to get rid of it, at least in windows 2000, is to boot up into safe mode, select the folder, and while holding shift, right click and delete it. Otherwise you could always hide it too.
As a warning - I'd suggest you disable event capture in Filemon 1st then experiment with filtering for only the directory path that keeps coming back. Otherwise it's possible to accidently hook all filesystem activity, that in turn generates a hell of a lot of log data and can quickly render your machine unusable without reboot.
