My Flip 3 just came in. Was delivered yesterday but I wasnt home so it came today, So far I am really digging this phone. Also got the dual wireless charger that charges a phone and a watch at the same time. Also got the mustard colored leather case. These 2 things were free from the samsung credit thing. I also traded 2 useless iphone 8 phones to get a few hundred off. The phone fits in my shirt pocket easily. Doing a data transfer from my note 20+ so I have about an hour to go.

Mine also came in. Setting itself up,which is so easy now days. The Bud2 also came in. Buy no Watch 4 classic yet.

Toying around with it. Came from a 20 Ultra 5G. Fits much better in my pocket, which is why I changed.20210826_200532.jpg20210826_200514.jpg20210826_200636.jpg

I had a play with one in store. I'm pretty impressed with the firm factor.
Yeah it's a bit thicker when folded but still feels much more pocketable than my regular shaped phone.

Can you guys come back with some anecdotal battery life reports after a few days?

Will do. I'm doing a drive today from NYC to Vermont and it's a 6+ hour drive and I will be using the flip 3 for GPS. I'll let you know how it goes.

I was on the fence for a while but today I shipped my Note 9 back to Samsung as a trade in and am lovin' that Z fold 3. It took smart transfer 3 hours to move 300gb of data from the note to the fold using wireless. I just couldn't say no to it after being offered 1.1k in discounts and cash back.

I will try, but my battery life is not normal. I cannot have my phone at work, think SCIF. I have to leave it in the car. So 10+ hours my phone is off. I don't play any games on my phone, rarely stream anything. I have a work trip for 10 days coming up, so that will be a test. September 16th, may be able to give you a better idea then. Reviews say it doesn't do great, and charges at just 15a. Some do 25a, much faster. But I rarely run low on battery so I'm not worried about it.

Two days in, I am really loving it. It's thinner than my 20 Ultra, thicker folded obviously. Feels smaller in my pocket though.

One issue I didn't think about is my wireless charger in my daily driver, the wireless charger is angled and the phone needs to be towards the top to work. Accelerating fast shifts the phone down and stops charging. Even with my rubbery case on it. My wife has a new Defender and the wireless charging level so not an issue. Small things people probably don't think about.

I had a Z Flip and really liked it. The only problem is my hands are like sandpaper and the screen looked fairly worn after 8 months of use. I'd definitely buy another once they can make the screen more durable.

The display model at my local Best Buy had definite crease marks at the fold, noticeable visually when opened. If they can capture my fancy in two years when I need a new phone, I'll certainly look at one then.

Ill need to check one out at Best Buy. I like the idea of Flip with the smaller form factor and after seeing reviews im intrigued...although i missed out on all the nice freebie/discounts.

A month with it, and glad I switched. I like it being smaller in my pocket. Some apps still not working properly, format is off. But only a few. Taking pics with it folded so it will stay where you want it is a big plus.

Almost made my wife switch.. But her new iPhone 13 be in this week. "Too invested" in Apple with iPad and watch. Folding is the future, again. For a while at least.

Costs and durability concerns keep me from being an early adopter despite the intriguing possibilities the firm factor offers once it matures more.
I might get a duo screen case for my LG V60 to experience the poor man's version of foldables 😉

Finally was able to see these at the Samsung store. The screen looks terrible with the fold mark in it. Not sure I could get past that. I am fine with a normal phone.
