Thats just the position of it, but how about the usage of it, or is that all there is?
I need to find a cop I guess and ask.

I live in FL, and I've never met anyone who's been ticketed for foglights, or purple/blue headlights, or horrible aftermarket HID hatchet jobs.
So enforcement is pretty lax.

I honestly think FHP/Sherrifs just don't give a crap about a lot of the laws.

My brother got pulled over in Georgia for having his Fog Lights on and nothing else in the city in his 04 Expedition. The officer gave him a warning and told him they could only be on in inclement weather. I think its kind of dumb to just run around having your fog lights on and nothing else. But with your other lights on it makes perfect sense to me to help with visibility.
Dear thescreensavers,
Thank you for your inquiry. The statute that you quoted is the key. You may use fog light with dim light only. The law does not describe when to use them, only how you are to use them. If I may be of further assistance to you, please do not hesitate to call or write.
Thanks,
Jesse.
Sergeant Jesse M. Evans
Any motor vehicle may be equipped with not to exceed two fog lamps mounted on the front at a height not less than 12 inches nor more than 30 inches above the level surface upon which the vehicle stands and so aimed that when the vehicle is not loaded none of the high intensity portion of the light to the left of the center of the vehicle shall at a distance of 25 feet ahead project higher than a level of 4 inches below the level of the center of the lamp from which it comes. Lighted fog lamps meeting the above requirements may be used with lower headlamp beams as specified in s. 316.237(1)(b).
what pisses me off is that most people with the driving lights have them aimed up instead of on the road,
