I have an interesting situation and wanted to vent a little bit, but I think im fine.

Originally I was suppose to leave colorado springs, 4:57 or something and arrive in denver, and have a flight home to Iowa around 9, but with the weather thats all cancelled.

I also have a time constraint, I'm suppose to be on a flight from chicago to san juan friday at 8 am. And my brother has my passport.

So here is my current schedule:

America West From Denver
Flight 2984 leaves 7:53pm

Arrives in Phoenix, AZ 9:46pm

Then Flight 1004 America West, from Pheonix to Chicago
Leaves 10:45pm arrives in chicago 2:50am.

I'm a pilot myself and based on what I've seen I don't see a problem with this flight being delayed or cancelled most importantly.

For the more weather savy and know more then I do, what do you guys think? Did I do a good job of finding a flight to get me on my cruise?

Well, I certainly hope that you make it to Chicago in time for your cruise, but it says here that the Denver Airport is closed.

And I absolutely hate America Worst; the most unreliable airline IMHO.

Good Luck!

I wouldn't fly in this weather if you paid me. Here in Denver we have 37MPH steady winds and white out conditions. They are talking up to 3 feet of snow. This is going to be a big one.....:)

yea i know its, closed looks like they are predicting to open up in the evening tomorrow which I think they are giving themselves a safe cushion.

I've never flown on them before, but hopefully that wont be the case with me.

Everything shows by the time I'm looking to fly that the storm will be blown over by a few hours, and tomorrow they are only predicting a inch so hopefully clean up will start immediately.

If your flight gets delayed then Denver has a sports bar uipstairs with cheap beer (for airport ... meaning regular price)

The good news that I see is that they are reporting mostly clear skies for denver tomorrow night.
