Heh, it's called Futures Contracts

Does SouthWest not fly from SoCal to Dallas? I don't see Dallas Love Field or DFW as an option for any Southern Californian Airport. I know Love Field has that stupid fly to neighboring states only restriction, I wouldn't mind flying straight to Dallas, then returning back with a stop in Phoenix and then back to SoCal.

According to this site--run by Southwest, I think--airlines are not allowed to advertise prices between DFW and airports not within a four-state radius. So even though they can fly there, they can't promote the prices. You'd probably have to do a manual search for whatever days you wished to fly and not just wait for a hot deal to pop up; you might even have to call 1-800-IFLYSWA.

Good luck!
