Flowmasters or something else for my "Stang GT"?

Hehe,

I wanna hear this car. What would ya recommend? I'm also gonna do the intake tube / K&N combo. I want it to breath better. 😀

No, we can't do both all at once.

What kind of car?

Flowmasters are widely considered to rob horsepower. But, probably nothing your going to see unless you go to the strip.

I have Flowmaster Delta 40s on our 64 Dodge and they're loud as hell. I mean they drone like mad while cruising and it's driving me crazy. They're known for this.

I currently have Spintechs on order.

Borla XR-1 😉 I have some 2 chamber 3 inch in/out on my BB Olds and they sound pretty nice and will rattle your teeth but there are better out there.

You want a nice sound or performance or both?

Edit: I just got my new Summit catalog today.....Borla 16 inch sportsman muffs are $136 for a 2 1/2 inch. 12 inch are only $125

Drop the cat....

Nobody is gonna take the CATs off. Besides that I don't want to become part of the pollution problem anymore than I already am. Not to mention, that it is illegal and the car is not gonna pass smog.

The car is an 04 GT premium coupe.
You want a nice sound or performance or both?
Of course, I want both! 😉

Cool, but I don't think I'd get the same effect. Obviously the stuff he's running is more powerful than mine, so I just want the best sound and performance for he buck.

4.6L Vs. a 455ci that will run 11.65 is a little bit on the other side of the spectrum but they sound great none the less.

If you want sound and performance then I for one would go with the Borlas. It's only money..😉

My car sounded pretty nice with a magnaflow muffler, but it was droney. It's still droney after a 2.5" magnaflow high flow cat, but it's throatier and slightly louder as well.
