My parents just got some flowers for their anniversary - am I the only one who thinks that it's weird that Flowersdiret used FedEX???
If you mean 'weird' in terms of using FexEx for shipping, no that's pretty standard.Originally posted by: freedomsbeat212

If you mean 'weird' in terms of having flowers delivered and packaged in a box (as opposed to the traditional flower delivery service where everything is already arranged) then YES I agree with you. I also think it's a little weird. It kind of defeats most of the 'wow' factor of shipping flowers IMO. Some services like FTD and 800flowers.com have networks of florists to do the more traditional flower delivery. They're a bit more expensive, but it just depends upon what you're looking for. Bang for the buck (and supposedly quality of the actual flowers) is where proflowers.com and some other online floral shops are supposed to really stand out. Personally though, I'd prefer to have them already arranged and handed to the person directly.
