No roses period...also...have you done your homework?...do you know what she's like more or less? I've met many of girls when I was heavily dating...and many of them actually said that they loved flowers...but not on the first date....some feel pressure because of the flower but others don't...that's where you come in..if you do give her a non-rose flower...you have to make her feel at ease....use humor when appropriate...they like that too.

I also recommend you read some of the "girl" magazines....you can learn alot with them.

I think it depends on your age.

if you're in highschool... girls are usually more materialistic. so It is somewhat important. however, it might backfire as they might end up expecting a flower in future dates.

if you're in college... i'd say no.

also depends on how close you're to that person. as i don't have any more info. that's all the advice I can give you.

Yeah, don't do it dude. It's hard, but you've got to have chicks think you're not that interested in them at first, otherwise they will bore of you quickly

IMHO, I think you should only get a woman flowers after copulation. But that's just my opinion, and YMMV

That's a good idea... and the best place to send it is at her work.... she'd be the envy of all other girls there.
