High cost of living in major cities due to them being desirable places to live in the first place. A global pandemic in a high population density area also drove people to move.

A single blue state is the #5 world economy. Spin that. See how dumb this game is?
Do you mean California? India has a large economy and I have yet to meet anyone with a desire to move there.

As the proud parent of a trans kid I wonder what @Why_Me_So_Stupid would do if their offspring were having some gender identity questions.

As someone who would have a different answer, I'll provide one instead.

The discussion should remain focused on accepting, loving, and caring for one self. As they were born. Not to fixate on gender stereotypes or rebelling against a societal construct. To look within and connect with the body they have and enjoy it for what it is rather than what someone else or a mental illness would change upon them. I would caution against others who bring suggestions of harmful drugs or mutilations.

Such as sexual mutilation of minors by way of hormone drugs ... correct?

Except that's the wrong way of dealing with it for Them. What you posted was only about making You feel better.

I love how Fox news viewing idiots must think while watching Fox news. First off, you have a viewer who has mush for a brain, mush that must be programed by Fox into mishmush.

So now let us venture inside the brain of the typical Fox viewer:
Fox News....Putin is good. Putin is smart.
The typical Fox Viewer... oh, ok, so now I must embrace communist dictators. Fine with me!!!
Fox News.... Masks are bad. Vaccines are bad.
The typical Fox Viewer.... Hold my hand honey, let us die together. Yea!!!
Fox News.... Donald Trump praises Alt-Right marchers in speech.
The typical Fox Viewer... oh, ok, now Im a Nazi sympathizer. Works for me!!!
Fox News..... Republican governor Ron DeSantis signs anti gay bill into law.
The typical Fox viewer.... oh, ok, now Im a racist homophobe. Right up my alley!!!

Fox News..... Donald Trump just jumped off the Brooklyn Bridge.
The typical Fox Viewer.... Honey, grab the car keys, I'll warm up the Chevy. Splash!!!

This is the worst kind of utter bullshit that causes mental illness and other problems because you want people to hide who they are.

So why would DeSantis sign the 'Don't say gay bill' at a charter school where the law doesn't even apply. And everyone in this picture looks quite gay.

Party of small government and all that...
Again, a fight he doesn't actually care about winning because he just wants more culture war ammo. I imagine Disney would pretty easily win a court case against that as unconstitutional retaliation against protected speech, especially because Florida Republicans are coming right out and saying it.

when stoking moral panic is the only thing that can get you votes because everything you actually stand for is horrifying to the vast majority of the population

Since you really have zero policies that would enhance or support more than the 1% of the population that contains a vast majority of the wealth, you kind of have to do these magician moves. Throwing red meat at the base is the only way to motivate them to show up. Imagine what happens if Roe v Wade is overturned. What will the Christian fundamentalists do then or the single issue voters that have gotten to this political divide?

I just had a thought…

What if the intent of this bill wasn’t really about discrimination but something more shady?

Desantis signed this bill at a charter school? Aren’t private schools exempt from this bill? It certainly wouldn’t be constitutional. So why would he sign it there?

The conspiracy theorist in me says this bill is intended to created a teacher shortage in public schools and get more parents to send their children to private schools.

I wonder what connection his donors have to private schools? I wonder what if any stakes he has in private schools?

Convince me I’m wrong.
