Just curious... I have a Tekram Ultra SCSI card and a SCSI drive onto which I'm going to install XP. Am I going to need a floppy to do so? I think I remember seeing XP setup scrolling through some scsi drivers when you install, but it's been forever since I've gone through XP setup. I know XP requires you to hit F6 to install a RAID driver, but what about a non-RAID scsi controller? I'd like to be prepared to find a floppy drive around the house if necessary since I don't have one in my computer at the moment. Here's the card I have...

I'm not real familer with the LSI U160 but the windows drivers might not be as good as the manufacturers. I know this is the case with the RAID drivers I have used in the past.

Some SCSI drivers are included on the Win Setup disk. Usually an LSI/Symbios/NCR based card will install OK, but the drivers may not be optimum. After Win install, update the SCSI driver to the mfr. specific one if any. My Tekram U80 card took a bit of monkeying to get Win2k to install. But it finally did w/o needing to use the floppy.
