I just got the Shuttle AK3.1 and I can't get the Floppy to work. When I boot the green light is on and stays on. Windows ME system info says the drive is OK but when I try to read from it I get "insert disk" I've check the cable several times. What's next?
 
If the light on the floppy is on and stays on all the time then your cable is flipped, regardless of whether you've checked it 100 times.

Just flip ONE end of the cable and see if that fixes the problem. 99.999% of the time it does.
