Floppy Failed

wen i just got done building my computer and i booted it up it says floppy drive failed
does anyone know how to fix this thanks

Does the light on it stay on all the time? If so, the ribbon cable is on backwards, on either the system board or the drive itself. By chance, is the second floppy drive turned on in the bios? Is the power cable plugged into it?

if you used a certain brand of rounded cables from newegg (coolmax maybe???) that could be your problem.

Yes, do check the floppy cable and the power. And the bios. ^^ What he said.
