floppy drive not working

tried 3 known working floppy drives and two known good floppy cables . I think the motherboard has a bad floppy controller . Is there such thing as a pci floppy controller card that I can plug in this motherboard?

Make sure you are hooking up the power correctly on the floppy drives.

EDIT: also make sure the drive set set properly in the bios.

How about the cable being properly attached to the floppy drive? Does the little green light of the floppy drive come on during boot and stay on?

this is happening on my motherboard too... I think it is the floppy controller...

does yours show up on windows but acts like a cdrom drivebut never detects anything in it? or.... does it just not show up?
