floppy bios install problem

Ok so i downloaded my bios and put in an old floppy drive i had. I formatted it and put the file on it. Whenver i right click on the disk it takes forever and usually freezes my comp and when it does work i can see the file. When i install the bios it says it cant read it and there was a image error

Looks like the diskette or file is no good.

I would just do a copy onto a diferent diskette.

Oppss, first, I would check the floppy drive itself and make sure it is working right.

Is the 3.5 floppy a new one or an old one? The same thing happened to me with some old floppies I had and when I purchased new ones they worked fine (except for one of course LOL)
