This subject got me thinking.
We all know the ways of flirting in different situations like a night out or a shared activity hobby (martial arts, rock climbing, etc, etc). This is all the usual stuff of eye contact, body language, light humour, knowing the personal space boundary and when to decrease it.
However, when it comes down to flirting at work; All the above doesn?t seem to work out the same. For example there are only so many times you can find an excuse to walk across the building to move to the next stage.
Therefore Emails and PM?s are the only medium left to which communicate. This in it?s self raises a problem; In the normal situations only 20% of successful flirting is carried out through the actual words said. With Emails that figure will go up to around 80-90%.
The point I?m trying to make here is how would one move onto the next stage of the flirtatious etiquette through email and a couple of 10min breaks during the day. Before anyone asks:
Dating is not an option

It?s only a bit of fun (agreed from both) ? nothing serious.
