I don't know where you live, but I've lived and hunted in many western US states...and hunting hours end at or about sunset. Night hunting for game animals is illegal in nearly every state.
SOME states permit night hunting, night vision scopes, and even artificial light for hunting non-game animals.

thank you i appreciate the education on this topic. however for some people i would think they would use the flir right before dawn and see if there are deer out there. if not why freeze your tell off in a tree stand?
