Flipping fan

You could try it. What kind of HSF do you have. What is between your HS and your CPU (thermal paste or a pad)? And how are you measuring the temps?

Right now with the window open and the side of the case off its at 44 deg but it is usually 52 to 54 when its all sealed

If your temps go up 8-10 degrees by just putting the side on, your case cooling is seriously lacking. You should look into that first.

Flipping the fan depends on the case cooling and heatsink. I just flipped a fan on a system I'm building with a CAK38 from the factory recommended suck-away from the CPU to having it blow down into the CPU and temps went down 4-5 degrees. Your mileage may vary.

Where is a good place to put a fan and what type, I don't mind drilling my mom has all kinds of drills and saws. She is a mad crafter. I have one in the front, one on my sparkle 400 and one on one of those grill things. Is that CAK38 easy to put on ? I might get one of those or a thermalright sk6.

I just used the CAK38 cause I had one handy. The SK6 performs a little better. Both have very tight clips but just be careful when putting it on.
