Have you heard of em/like em?

Somebody link it up to show support =] I can't youtube at work =(

One of those shows I think I should love in principle, and certainly don't disdain, while finding myself less than enthusiastic about.

You're thinking of Australians. These guys are New Zealanders, they're cool.

Brilliant. Brilliant. Brilliant.

0000001000000110000001111111111Oh....oh oh one....oh oh one....oh oh

Come on sucker lick my battery.

I watched a bunch of episodes when I flew to and from England on Virgin's excellent entertainment system. I was chuckling away quite heartily.

Their live stuff (which is all over YouTube) is much, much better than their show, which is by no means bad, but pales in comparison. It would be amazing to watch these guys live.

The tv show is alright, I saw them live back in May, they were really funny. But it was hard to distinguish them as a stand up act as opposed to a tv show.

And Aussies are much funnier then new zealanders.

Also nobody in NZ even knew about them until HBO picked up their show, now everyone is crawling out the woodwork trying to latch on.

You couldn't be more wrong. They were very popular in NZ before they went overseas.

Actually I couldn't be more right. Nobody in NZ realises that anything is good until the rest of the world does. Nobody liked Evermore until Home and Away used their music. Nobody gave a crap about the Conchords until they put a podcast of their first tv show series up, now ZM can't stop playing their unradio worthy music. But that's NZ for you.

I remember watching those two in the mid 90's on a NZ show called Pulp Comedy. They've been known for years man. Maybe not super popular - but then again that's common for most "bands" before they get their big break.
