flexinstaller question

on friday night, I did a flexinstaller install to a local system with scheduling set such that the client would stop at 7am and start at 6pm. it was also set to run through the weekend.

I also did one network install with the same settings.

Both of these installs started up and ran through the weekend but they did not stop at the appointed time this morning. Any idea what I did wrong?

Both of the machines are W2K systems....let me know if you need any more information.

btw, is there a way to manually edit a service so you can change when it starts and stops?

Either Shux or bot would probably be able to answer this right off. I'll take a (wild) stab and say the options would be in the Start Parameters in the SETI@Home service. I looked at mine and the field is blank but I did this install manually and wasn't looking to start/stop it at all.

Bump!

I've got another question.

Is it possible to install to computers on your network but in a different workgroup?

Thanks,
Swan

I realize I've bumped this quite a few times and I may be getting annoying :eek: but I will be able to assimilate quite a few machines if someone could answer my questions :)

Sorry for being so long in seeing this, I am not on nearly as much as I used to be. I don't think the scheduling system was tested very well:eek: My source code is all at school, and when I get there tomorrrow, I will do some experimentation and see what the problem is and get you a fix at the least.
