Flexible Friday work hours

Boss said Friday hours are now flexible because he wants to leave by 5. He said it's ok to do the same, or stick with the current 8:30 to 5:30. It sounded like everyone agreed to 8 to 5.

I think I will just show up at the normal 8:30 time and leave when everyone else does at 5 :evil:
 
I get to work until midnight x-mas eve or I don't get my lay-off incentive. Yes, my last day before unemployed and I get to take it in the ass one last time.
 
I work from home so I start my day at 7 thru 3 (half hour lunch which I never actually take), then 2-3 hours of paid OT. Can't do that if I were at an actual location though. No way I'm staying out working 11 hours a day. And before you get any ideas, it's hella boring if I'm not actually doing work.
 
I have flexible work hours every day. I usually show up around 7:30am and leave around 4:30pm. If I feel like strolling in at 9:00am, that's fine too.
 
I work 7:30-4:30, much better than 8-5. Sometimes I come in late, and still leave at 4:30, depends on the day.
 
wow... we can work 6-3, 7-4, 8-5, 9-6.... really you just need to make your 40 hours. I guess I'm lucky.

everyday is flexible hours for me, but generally i get in at 430am and leave by 130pm. I could even split my shift for classes. so there 😛 I love my job.
 
Technically my hours are 830-5 but I come in around 9 and leave around 4. Boss is 30 miles away and as long as my work is done she doenst even know.
 
My Fridays are 9am to 2:30pm .... (I work 9am to 6:15pm Mon-Thurs)

I love my shift, though I would kill to start around 10am as it would move me totally past rush hour ...
 
My office just started offering the following option to all employees:

5 days at 8.5hrs each with 1 hr break (our salaries are based on 37.5 hrs) or 4 days at about 10 hrs. You choose!

I've been doing the 10.5 hrs with 30 min break for close to a year now (my department was offered it long ago) if not more. We get automatic 2.5hrs paid overtime per week due to our salary being 37.5hrs. Nice little ~3k a yr automatically. No other department gets paid OT though. Probably because their jobs are enjoyable.
 
My best gig was about 16 years ago, no kids, no wife, sinlgle and worked the night shift for Solomon Brothers. 11pm-8am. Got to hang out for a good portion of the night, go to work, no one there to bug me, got off at 8am, live 10mins away, slept from 8:30-1pm, had all day to hang, shop, play games go out at night and then back to work. Plus I made time and ahalf due to the shift. Sigh, good times. Then my GF got pregnant and I had to do the 9-5 shuffle. 🙁
 
I'm in 6:00-6:00 today.

And I'm out of a job Dec. 31st.

Gotta get every fucking penny I can out of this place...
 
I get to the office ~6:30am Monday - Friday, and I am lucky if I get out of here by 5:30pm. I do take 1 1/2 hour lunch breaks some days, and every once in a while I'll just go play golf for an afternoon.
 
Well so much for that plan. His kids/wife kept him from getting here early so he showed up around 9. Looks like I'll still be here at 5:30 after all, unless he lets us all go when the one person who did show up at 8 leaves at 5.
Oh well, not much of a loss.
