Flexible Adhesive for Electronics

I have a situation where a portible camera setup is used. The setup is handled very rough sometimes. The connections keep coming undone and is becoming very annoying.

I remember a long time ago when I bought a machine from Quantex (really long time ago), all the drives had this really cool flexible adhesive on the ribbon connectors to the drives and the motherboard. This adhesive could easily be removed and did not leave any residue, but it was very good at keeping the connections physically in contact.

Does anyone have any idea what this adhesive is and where it can be purchased? I think it might be a glue gun application, but really don't know.

Thanks

3M has what you're looking for. i've seen it in elctronic catalogs. Your local electronics store (not Radio Shack) may have something.
