do not take this drug

i've been on it for 3 weeks....and when i take it all i can think about is suicide.

i flushed the rest of them down the toilet.

do it before it's too late....

Well, it does say unusual thoughts and hallucinations can be a side effect. There's probably some other muscle relaxer you can take that will work equally well.

Flexeril never did much for me. I far prefer valium.

(washed down with a couple of beers or good stiff drinks) 😛

Can't say I had any hallucinations unusual thoughts or thoughts about suicide though.

I sort-of like Lortabs for pain-relief, (Hydrocodone/Acetaminophen) However they don't last long. (2 hours tops, no prior tolerance/use of opoids.)

I have taken just one, for a muscle spasm in my back. Soon I was reclined on the couch, mumbling to no one in particular "But it was just a LITTLE pill.........." droool. I am such a lightweight.
We had those house guests that would not take a hint about leaving. I was so goofy at that point, I turned to my wife and asked " Did Bill and Debbie go home?" They were sitting across the room from me. It did work though. I had no muscle spasm, heck I had no back anymore. I was hung over till 9 the next morning😀

Flexeril just made me drowsy, and that's about it. In my experiences, Soma or Vallium for muscle relaxation, they work very well. They do have more side effects, for me, though.

I take Ambien. I had 7 left and took a single one. I then forgot that I took one and took another. The next day I wake up and the bottle is empty. Apparently I ate all of them later that night. Crazy shit.

Side effects are not experienced by all users. Lortab make me super awake despite them suposed to make you drowsy, but I don't go around telling people not to take them if they need to sleep.

And this is why you should always read of the possible side effects of a drug, and monitor yourself when you're taking the drug. If you notice one of the more serious side-effects, STOP TAKING IT and consult the prescribing doctor. It does not mean however that just because one individual has the side effect, that nobody else should take the drug.

same for me. They make me super aware and ready to work on anything. They make my wife hallucinate.

Meh, never had any side effect on me. Didn't have much of an effect on my muscle pain compared to some other meds either. It's pretty weak.

you could have tried cutting the tabs in half and seen if that helped. I think the best muscle relaxers on the market are: baclofen, tizanidine, and diazepam (Valium). hydrocodone (lortab, lorcet, vicodin....) is a pain medicine, not a muscle relaxer.

Suicidal thoughts is not a listed side effect, but I have read others have felt severe depression after taking this medication. Did you take it with alcohol, or any other drugs (antidepressants)? Mixing medications can cause weird side effects.

I was taking them with an anti-inflammatory pill called Daypro. I'm going to talk to the doctor in the next 48 hours. I felt terrible last night.
