I was expecting a paradise behind those curtains and all I got was slightly bigger seats and more attentive stewardesses. One positive though - everyboddy was so stuck up, they just kept to themselves without talking so I could relax in complete silence. And oh yeah, they let you board and disboard first, while everybody else is watching :)

My father says it's on international flights, where first class is truly better than business and coach.

I can't say anything about first class, but in business class coming back from London to Chicago...it was 11ty billion times better than coach.

I never have... but VeggieFrog has... a few times.. upgrades from the airlines, cause I wasnt gonna pay those fares..

still not bad for a kid to say she flew 1st class before the age of 18yrs old, huh?

The only things I like in international first class is they let you pick whatever movie you want when you want, theres a snack table in the middle all the time, and they kept asking me if i wanted :wine: even though I wasn't 21 yet. :D

On international flights is where first class really shines. I remember when I flew as an unaccompanied minor way back in the day riding coach, and they had some seats up front that were open so the stewardess put me in first class. It was okay, but you get the full first class experience on an international flight most definately.

whenever i fly to india, i take a business class seat (cant handle coach, WAY TOO CROWDED)

a couple times, i have upgraded to first class (cathay pacific and singapore air) and they are VERY NICE

though business class gets the job done for me (and business class is the highest thing offered on LAX-SIN direct)

for international flights it's much better flying in business class or higher, the price is much more though, and when we go as a family of 4, it's not cheap :p

Is that the one where you get fully reclining seats? Always wanted to fly those.

But, what is with the price?

Just about every time I check first class prices it's almost three times in price, for what? An extra two inches of ass room and an attentive stewardess.

I don't get it.
