flatscreen CRT?

After starring a while at flatscreens down the local computer store I startet to wonder why? Why are the flatscreens than the old "rounded" monitors?
I thought that the 900sl+ samsung was nicer than the 900NF. Do i have to get used to the flatscreens or was it just my glasses turning upside down? 😕

I tried to ask why the flatscreens are better than normal crt-screens, because i have diffycaulties seeing the difference.

supposedly, you get a better image, less distortion due to curvatures.
i just love mine cuz there's pretty much only one angle that you can get glare.

The flatscreens are better in every way that I can think of. Especially at the edges, where the "rounded" monitors tend to distort the image. And glare is an excellent point. Much less on a flatscreen.

That also depends who makes the TrueFlat screen.
