I had my car battery die on a highway at 1am... on a 20F night... in Texas where I don't own clothes to keep warm in such weather. Traffic was really light and I was only seeing a car every 30 minutes. And to top it off, I had no cell phone reception.
It took me about 2 hours to get a truck driver to pull over. He used his radio to contact a state trooper who showed up about an hour later. What an awful night.
no spare?
Really...who the hell waits around for any length of time for a tow truck to change a flat tire...besides a woman?

imma call AAA and sit inside a warm location and wait for them to change my tire.
RTFOM! (read owner's manual)i too have AAA. sadly, i never changed a tire in my life. i don't think i'd feel comfortable doing it.
that sucks.
I've got my broke ass 2wd POS parked at the bottom of a 70 degree driveway, covered in ice, in a snowstorm, in Truckee. I barely got up this hill to begin with (retreated once, put on the chains, and whitenuckled my way here)
have to drive it out by Sunday morning. ....we shall see.
Pretty sure I have a slow water pump leak. Should be about 700 bucks or a whole day of work for me. Yaaaaaaay...
