flaskmpeg problem...

I'm trying to rip a dvd using divx 5.0, and i get an error about not being able to load the log file for reading. Does anyone know what that might mean? TIA

It means flask has sh!t the bed and generated one of it's two hundred or so very non-descriptive errors that talk about not being able to generate the first pass stats file that could be caused by one of a milliion things.

Or in other words, it's telling you to make your life easier and just use virtual dub w/gknot.

Virtualdub seems to be just for mpeg1...

no,no...vdub will work with just about any codec there is.
